What is this blog about?

Here I want to write out and explore my own thoughts and findings. I wish to sincerely and concretely explore and understand the problems facing the Catholic Church in Ireland, and more broadly Irish society, with a view to positing possible solutions and strategies for a way forward.

For the purposes of the blog I will take as axiomatic fidelity to the Church’s teachings in the sincere belief that a reawakening of genuine Christian faith in Ireland is both a worthy and necessary cause. In addition to opinion and musings I intend to seek concrete evidence to the best of my resources and capabilities from which to draw conclusions and then provide analysis and speculation.

This is a blog ultimately seeking to set my head straight.
